The Black Sea Roach (Rutilus frisii) is a predatory freshwater fish. It prefers areas of rivers with a fast current, eddies, with clean spring water rich in oxygen. It usually occurs in small groups, sometimes on its own. The silvery gray body of this fish has blue reflections along its sides. They feed on insects, small fish and fry. The Black Sea Roach is considered a rare and valuable fish.
