Brycon (Brycon spp.) is a tropical fish species found in freshwater habitats of Central and South America, ranging from Mexico to Argentina. Brycon have plump, deep bodies that are grayish-silvery on the sides with reddish fins and yellow eyes. These fish can vary in length from about 12 to 80 cm with a maximum weight of up to 6 kg. Their diet primarily consists of fruit and seeds, but sometimes can also include invertebrates and small fish.

How to catch a unique Brycon? You can catch this fish either with bait or lures.
If you prefer to use natural baits, then the best way to catch Brycon would be to use Camu-Camu on a size #6/0 hook.
