Norway Atlantic Salmon

Norway Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) is found in fast-flowing rivers and cold coastal waters. It’s a prized catch and a proud symbol of Norwegian fishing tradition. Most Norway Atlantic Salmon weigh around 5-7 kg, though some giants reach up to 50+ kg. Salmon can be caught in many ways, but in open coastal waters, trolling tends to give the best results. Their diet includes small fish like herring and sardines, shrimp, and insect larvae. But despite their appetite, Norway Atlantic Salmon are sharp-eyed and cautious. To succeed, anglers need delicate, nearly invisible rigs and precise lure presentation.
