This huge Taimen has no competitors because of its impressive size. This is an excellent hunter who is constantly on the move. This Taimen is not too picky in terms of food: it’s happy to eat rodents and waterfowl that have fallen into the water as well as small fish. According to old-timers, it once used to drag dogs into the deep. This specimen is rightfully considered the Khan of the entire Selenge River.
