White-Eye Bream (Ballerus sapa) is a ray-finned fish species of the Carp family. It is widespread in many large rivers of Europe and Asia and in drainages of the Black, Caspian, and White seas. These fish prefer to inhabit large, fast-flowing rivers and estuaries. White-eye Breams have silvery-gray elongated bodies flat on the sides and dark gray fins. These fish usually grow to a mass of 1-2.2 lb(0.2 to 0.9 kg), with the maximum weight of a unique specimen rarely exceeding 3.3 lb(1.3 kg). White-Eye Bream feeds on small crustaceans, mollusks, insects, and insect larvae.
