The Yellow Perch (Perca flavescens) is a popular freshwater gamefish native to much of North America. This fish has a brass-colored body with dark vertical stripes, triangular in shape. Distinguished by two dorsal fins, one spiny and the other soft-rayed. It can grow to 50 cm (20 in) in length with a maximum weight of up to 2 kg (4.4 lb). The Yellow Perch is usually active only throughout the day, with the exception of spawning season, when it is active both day and night.

How to catch a unique Yellow Perch? You can catch this fish either with bait or lures.

If you prefer to use natural baits, then the best way to catch Yellow Perch would be to use Small Minnows on a size #2/0 hook.
